Canada is one of the best countries in the world to live in. According to Canadian Visa Expert, three Canadian cities were recently named among the top 10 most liveable cities in the world.
The Global Liveability Index 2023, conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit, listed Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto as some of the world’s most liveable cities. Canada has more cities represented in the top 10 than any other country represented on the list.
Vancouver ranked 5th on the list, Calgary tied with Geneva in the 7th position, and Toronto ranked 9th on the list, with each of the three cities having perfect healthcare and education scores.
Some residents commented on this great feat, praising positive governmental policies that have improved the quality of life in these three Canadian cities.

The Canadian government’s investment in public transportation and transit systems also makes navigating these big cities easier. As a result of the ease of transportation, most of the residents in these cities are not even bothered about getting a driver’s licence.
Each of these top-ranked cities has its own unique appeal, which includes but is not limited to good healthcare, sound educational institutions, and great job opportunities for immigrants.
